We are so exited about 2010 and whats going to happen with Hello. 09 was a great year for growth with 40+ stores stocked in australia the crazy sales online. We really want to say thank you to all our customers, online, markets and our shops. Without you guys and girls we would not be in this place. We love you!
But on and up wards in 2010 with a new and exciting range coming out in march or sooner. There will be quite abit of changing around. some pieces going to a different range and new pieces coming in. We will be doing rings, cufflinks, keyrings, broochs and magnets into shops and online with necklaces and bracelets already doing so well.
We are also sorting better tags/cards to make hello a little more special. we will hopefully be doing stiches and craft and finders keepers around australia, surry hills festival, dank st, PYD, newton festival, glebe st and young blood so watch out for post about these awesome fests.

Read a few reviews on this movie and theres alot for and alot against. I loved it, the story line is pretty strong and the 3d is great. A+ from me and the glasses are even sweet. see it!

Wet wet wet what can i say not the best weekend but fun anyway. Some great jazz bands, good people and some good products sold what more can you ask for. The Cats Meow independent clothing store was established in August 2002 by Karen Bjornenak and Kylie Golsby-Smith.Initially stocking the two principal labels, Kylie's namesake Kylie-Jane, and Karen's Berserk Clothing, it soon became apparent that shoppers in Melbourne's CBD were more than ready to embrace an alternative to high end 'label' based stockists and chain store clothing.
The Cats Meow now represents around twenty fashion, accessory and textile designers. Garments stocked range from one-off crafted original pieces, to practical everyday fashions - but always with a twist!
Small production runs ensure a high level of quality , originality and 'real girl' sizing. The Cats Meow has a strong following of natural fibre lovers, with many of the designers preferring to work with linen,cotton,denim and wool. The majority of the designers stocked are Melbourne based, so new stock arrives each week.
At the Cats Meow we have a 'made in Australia' ethic, garments and accessories are wholly designed and manufactured in Australia using registered companies and workers - we do not stock or use any products made with 'sweat shop' labour. 28/09/09 Summer phoootshoot
Went out to zeatland on sunday to get a summer photoshoot done with a good friend and photographer Gary compton www.garycompton.com. It was a blast finally getting some good photos done for the net and to do a lookbook up so we can get around the shops. We should get the photos in the next couple of days and ill slowly get them on the net and get the shop and ms looking pretty top notch!
Been thinking about a mad hatters tea party themed shoot and market stalls so watch out for those poping up. We are going to be a (hopefully) at finders keepers and glebe st fair in the next few months coming up to the crazy xmas rush. (12 weeks!) Holy crap dont leave it to the last minute like i do.
Oh and on the exciting front we have a new logo thingy coming out soon to, to replace the talk style that we have. the new one is abit more girly and fits better with what we do.

24/09/09 Black outs and sand storms!
Heres a couple of photos from the sand storm we just had in sydney Dont worry we got through it. It also blacked out a couple of nights ago for a while. solution hit the beach with a glass of wine and watch the storm over the city. beautiful! We are super busy here we just finished the glazing. Gluing tomorrow then all you guys will have you pretty pieces. thanks for all the orders, they are really keeping us busy =D

22/09/09 Weekend re-cap
What a whirl wind weekend aka WWW. We did Manly Saturday/Sunday and Glebe Saturday and Narrabeen Sunday. 230 pieces gone just like that to you lucky people! There was so many great people to talk to and hang over the weekend. I did Glebe, doing it on my own now as Hannah s doing Manly.
Hannah did Manly and pretty much sold out of everything she had, not sure what was in the manly water that day but people really wanted to buy our jewellery and how could we so no? Well we cant of cause. Good thing her sister Sarah was there to help out. Thanks Sarah!
We were hoping to have a week off this week but because you mad people brought so many pieces we have to make more for the photo shoot coming up this Sunday. No complaints here. Its cause of you guys that we are full time dabblers.
Hoping to make better buis cards and tags this week so watch out for those in the post or at the next markets. Maybe even A3 size pictures of caesi.

18/09/09 Quick update.. where have we been and what the hell have we been doing!
Hello has came along way since its humble pie beginnings 6 months ago (Been doing it much longer but more as a hobbie) We have moved into our own little piece of paradise, you cant even swing a cat in this place with out hitting a wall. Picture will be up later.
We have been doing the markets, Glebe, manly, narrabeen and maybe the rocks in the future to great success. Thanks to everyone that was brought of us, you rule and make our little life possible.
We have been selling crap loads of goods online sending to Australia, NZ, america turkey, canada and England thanks again guys and also we sell into 3 shops so far across Australia (check stockist on Big cartel site) We will be hitting up more shops around oz in the next month so Yeahhhhhhhh!Been pretty busy
Plans for the future: we have a photo shoot coming up in a couple of weeks with a good friend Gary Compton so the pictures on BC and Ms will look a hell of a lot better. We are doing Manly Jazz festival which should be a blast in Oct. New releases are out in the markets and will be online in the next couple of weeks
For promo we have the Models comp, get in on it its about to end. And will be doing a artist one next and heaps of different ones in the future. Also we have the Code system where you can get free necklaces (check MS blog for that) I might bring it over to BC as well.
We are hoping to improve our packaging and freebies like buttons, tags, tape, stamps, banners,tents in the future, watch out for those.
We are doing off week now( next week) which is super exciting as we work to hard, all for you guys!! lol. So we can get out abit more and have a life.
So yeah we'll have more photos and stuff to share later but should go and do some work now.
